HUNGRY FOR BOOKS? A Book Sandwich Book Report—DUE May 6 Directions: Please choose a chapter book of any genre to read. After you read the book, you will make a book sandwich, using Pixie on the iPad. Keep the background white but use colors for the design. Your total book report should include 3 pages: top bread and lettuce on page 1, tomato and cheese on page 2, meat and bottom bread on page 3. You must follow the guidelines given below: · Top Bread: title, author and student's name · Lettuce: description of the main character · Tomato: description of the setting · Cheese: conflict (major problem) · Meat: resolution to conflict (solution to problem) · Bottom Bread: your opinion of the book After you create your sandwich, you will need to record yourself reading the book report using the record feature of Pixie. Make sure you listen to your recording, too. BE CREATIVE and HAVE FUN! Please sign and return the envelope, so it can be used again for the third trimester report card. *Sign and return the math test and math RSA. *If you are unable to attend your parent teacher conference, please email me or call the school to notify me. We received another postcard this week. We only need 4 more states: Delaware, Maryland, North Dakota, and Iowa.
